Simple definition

One GPO allows the administrator to modify the settings of many positions without intervening on each one.

Technical definition

Group Policys are linked to sites, domains or organizational units. Their application depends on the LSDOU order, security filters, filtering WMI And inheritance.

Configure security, deploy Windows settings, map players, or install some software.
