What does this error mean?

The Channel is not responding correctly to IPsec negotiation.

Probable causes

  • Incorrect public address
  • UDP ports 500/4500 blocked
  • NAT or missing road
  • Equipment: not available

Verification and resolution

  1. Test the public address
  2. Check IKE/NAT-T ports
  3. Monitoring roads and policies
  4. Analyze newspapers on both sides
Precaution: Do not publish an interface of administration on the Internet to test the VPN.
